I Had My Best Hour Before Anyone Knew I Was Awake

🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕

Dear Readers,

I woke earlier than usual one morning recently. Not intentionally—my eyes opened, I checked the time, and going back to sleep clearly wasn't happening. So I made coffee and started something I'd been putting off.

For almost an hour, nobody contacted me. No questions arrived. Nothing needed approving. There wasn't even anything particularly urgent happening. And I got more useful thinking done in that hour than I had during entire afternoons that week.

It made me realize there are two very different ways to begin a day. One is to enter a world that's already asking things from you. The other is to have a small piece of your mind to yourself before everybody else gets a vote.

That's probably why simple morning habits interest me more than elaborate routines. If something requires motivation, preparation and twenty-seven steps, eventually life wins. Something that takes a few quiet minutes is different. You can simply try it and decide from experience.

Seven Quiet Minutes Before The World Wakes Up [Ad]

Billionaire Brain Wave is a short morning audio inspired by brainwave research and the idea that how we begin the day often shapes everything that follows. Just press play and let it become part of your routine.

Sometimes the simplest morning habit is the easiest one to keep.

If those seven minutes fit, don't judge the entire idea from one morning. Look at the complete approach and decide whether there's anything worth carrying forward.

I haven't suddenly become someone who wakes before sunrise every day.

But I understand the appeal now.

There was something useful about meeting my own thoughts before I had to meet everyone else's.

Until next time,

Alex R
